Structural Optimization Design and Analysis (SODA) is a software package designed and developed by Acronym Software.

SODA evolved from years of research and development programs at top Canadian universities such as the
University of Waterloo, in Waterloo Ontario, Canada. For 20 years, SODA has been widely used by professional design offices in Canada and the United States. Over sixty universities and colleges in their undergraduate and graduate engineering programs also use this software for instructive purposes.

SODA's continued growth is supported by professional structural and software engineers. It continues to evolve in scope, function, and usability.
